Chocolate Dipped Banana + Almond Butter Skewers

These skewers are healthy, easy to make treats! Kids love them and it’s fun to get them involved in making them too.

INGREDIENTS

Bananas Peanut or almond butter Organic chocolate

What To Do

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into thick slices about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. Spread a slice of banana with about 1/2 tsp of peanut or almond butter.

  3. Place one more slice of banana on top of the almond butter layer to make a sandwich. Pierce each sandwich with a wooden skewer. Continue until you have used up all the banana slices.

  4. In a glass or ceramic bowl, break apart your chocolate into small chunks.

  5. Heat some water in a pan, once it reaches a rolling boil, place the glass bowl over the top of the pan until the chocolate melts.

  6. Dip each banana skewers into the melted chocolate and swirl around to coat the bottom half of the sandwich.

  7. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes or until the chocolate sets.
